25 complete classics. Every one with a full audiobook. Free, and no account.
Not first chapters. Not samples. 25 whole books, from cover to cover, each one paired with a finished narrated edition — about 204 hours of audio in all. Read them in your browser, listen in the car, download the file and keep it. There is nothing to install and no password to invent.
Every book here is in the public domain — its copyright has expired, so it belongs to everybody, including you. Nobody is being underpaid for these and no rights holder is being cheated; that is exactly why we can hand them over instead of selling them. What we added is the part that normally costs money: a clean, typeset edition and a complete AI-narrated audiobook for each one, labelled as AI-narrated because you deserve to know what you are listening to.
The independent authors on our main shelf are a different matter — their books are theirs, they keep 80% of every sale, and only their first chapters are free. Browse those →
What you get, and what we get.
It is a trade, so here are both halves of it in the same size type.
You get
- 25 complete books — every chapter, not a sample.
- 25 finished audiobooks, roughly 204 hours of narration.
- DRM-free files you download and keep. Nothing stops working.
- No account, no password, no app. A link is the whole key.
- Lost the email? /library sends it again.
We get
- Your email address. That is the entire price.
- Permission to write to you occasionally about new books here.
- A chance that one day you buy a book from one of our authors.
- What we do not get: ad money, tracking data, or anything to sell to a third party. We never sell reader data.
- Reply “unsubscribe” to any email and you are off the list — a person reads that address. You keep the books either way.

We keep this shelf free because a bookshop should smell like books before it asks you for anything. When you are done with these, our independent authors' first chapters are free to read and to hear, and they keep 80% of everything their books earn.
